гл.Русский глагол обвинять используется как при описании обыденных, несерьезных проступков, так и в случае тяжелых преступлений и серьезных нарушений поведения. В английском языке обвинения в поступках разной степени тяжести называются разными словами.1. to accuse — обвинять (глагол предполагает совершение серистого проступка, связанного с нарушением принятых правил и норм закона): to accuse smb of theft (of the crime, of murder, of laziness) — обвинять кого-либо в краже (в преступлении, в убийстве, в лени); to accuse smb of taking the money (of telling lies) — обвинять кого-либо в том, что тот взял деньги (лжет); to accuse smb of being careless — обвинять кого-либо в небрежности; to accuse smb of negligence (of unfaithfulness, of cheating at cards) — обвинять кого-либо в халатности (в неверности, в шулерстве); to accuse the technicians of carelessness which caused the breakdown — возлагать на техников вину за аварию из-за небрежности I think he was justly accused of negligence. — Я думаю, его справедливо обвинили в халатности.
